To save time and make your experience flow smoother we have questions that are frequently asked by customers, especially if it’s their first time renting jet skis, kayaks, etc. We hope this helps guide you through the process but if you don’t find the answer here, No worries, just drop us a call at (910) 389-1471.
Jet-skis

Reservations required. All reservations must arrive 30 minutes before departure time so that we may check your group in. A full charge will occur for any reservations that do not show up for the reserved departure time! If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must call 24 hours before your departure/rental, or you will be charged. All renters must have valid photo ID and a major credit card Visa/Master card.

North Carolina State Law requires drivers to be at least 16 years old to drive a ski but we require drivers to be at least 18 years old.

Skis will hold up to (2) as long as the weight does not exceed 375 lbs.

As we do not rent out our skis for free use, we provide a guide to show you around. Our Jet Ski Guide will show you how to operate the ski and give you a safety briefing before you embark. Your Guide is knowledgeable about the safety issues (no wake zones, channels, sand bars. etc) and of the regulations of the North Carolina Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Yes, signed waivers are required. If the participant is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian is required to sign for the minor.

Our Jet-Ski Guide will give each rider a detailed safety briefing and show each driver how to operate the ski and instruction on wearing equipment.

Guests should consider their physical fitness level and medical history when determining whether this ride is appropriate. Guests with cardiac conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, other heart or respiratory conditions and/or previous back or neck injury or any other medical condition should take particular caution when selecting this activity. Guests who have concerns should consult their personal physician.

We accept reservations through Peek which is located in our website for both kayaks and paddle boards, however, we also accept walk-ins! Reservations must arrive 10 minutes prior to reservation time to check in and get geared up to go! A full charge will occur for any reservations that do not show up for the reserved departure time! If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must call 24 hours before your departure/rental, or you will be charged.

Although North Carolina does not set a specific minimum age for operating non-motorized vessels like kayaks, we specify that children must be at least 15 years old, have the skills to operate in specific conditions, and be accompanied by a parent or guardian— if they’re not over the age of 18.

Single Kayaks will hold 275 lbs stable. Tandem Kayaks will hold 400 lbs stable. Paddle Boards will hold 170 lbs stable!

Yes, it is required by the US Coast Guard, NC law, and our shop that you must keep your life jacket on at all times while operating a kayak/paddle board.

We have free parking at our location. Please lock all valuables in your car. If you can not find parking, you can park at the Riverside Park or in Downtown Swansboro.
