Pontoon Boat FAQs
How old do I need to be to rent, and do I need a special license?
You must be 18 years old to rent, and provide a credit card to hold as a damage deposit. There is no special license required to rent. Though if you would like to get a boaters safety you can do so at for free at https://www.boatus.org/free/ .
Are pets allowed on the pontoon boats?
Yes! Our pets are family, and we hate leaving them behind. Therefore we wouldn’t expect you to have to leave yours out either. Although please note you are responsible for any damages. Also the boats do not have boarding ladders for pets.
What times are available, and how can I book?
Pontoons can be booked online (online bookings show up to date availability) or give us a call at (910) 389-1471.
Are we allowed to pull a tube behind the Pontoon boat?
Sorry but no. Due to safety and insurance purposes, we do not allow any type of towing behind our pontoon rentals. Although if you are interested in tubing, we do provide a tubing service that can be hired to coincide with your pontoon rental!
Where are we aloud to go, and are we aloud to fish?
The pontoon rentals have a large area to explore. Yes, fishing is allowed. However NC requires everyone 16 and older to posses a NC issued fishing license. These can be purchased online or at any bait and tackle store..
