You must be 25 years old to rent and provide a credit card to hold as a damage deposit. We ask that anyone who expects to rent without a boaters license, at least have 5 years of boating experience— and not just on a lake. Operating a boat in the sound is a lot different— you have to factor in tide, wind, safety channels, and unseen sandbars. Please don’t take this lightly. Yes! Our pets are family, and we hate leaving them behind. Therefore, we wouldn’t expect you to leave yours out either. Although, please note that you are responsible for any damages and the boats don’t have boarding ladders for pets.

Unfortunately, no. Due to safety and insurance purposes, we do not allow any type of towing behind our pontoon rentals.

The pontoon rentals have a large area to explore. But again, this is not the lake. There are numerous shoals and sandbars so obviously if you’re not from this area, it would make sense to stay within the marked channel or follow other boats, as running aground could damage the boat.

Yes, fishing is allowed—however, NC requires everyone 16 and older to posses an NC issued fishing license. These can be purchased online or at most bait and tackle shops.

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy for our boat rentals. This means in the event that you need to cancel your trip, you must do so at least 24 hours prior to your departure time— due to the inability of other customers to book online if the slot isn’t open. If you try to cancel within 24 hours of your reservation, your trip will be non-refundable.

Obviously, no one can control the weather, so in the event that we deem the weather to be too severe for operating a boat, we are more than willing to offer a refund. Of course, we’d love if you were able to reschedule for a later date and time if able to.
